A 41-year-old man turned himself in to Seattle police Sunday, saying he had killed his ex-wife and left her body in a vehicle at a park and ride lot in Kent, according to Kent police.

The man who was fatally shot Sunday by Kent police following a manhunt, shootout and propane-tank explosion was identified Tuesday by the King County Medical Examiner's Office as 28-year-old Richard Five Kent police officers were placed on paid administrative leave following the shooting, a police spokeswoman said Monday.

A man accused of strangling his ex-girlfriend in Kirkland in January pleaded not guilty this morning to second-degree murder, according to the King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
